GEICO Award Program Scholarships: Computer Science, Business and Math

GEICO has created a scholarship award program to recognize outstanding student achievement in computer science, business and math.

Leading car insurance provider, GEICO has presented dozens of students across the country with Achievement Awards. At a value of $1000 each, these scholarships were awarded to students to help them reach their educational goals in college and university.

These awards are presented to students who have shown outstanding achievement in such academic fields as computer science, business and math. Students are also eligible for these awards by demonstrating leadership within their community or on their college campus.

In order to be eligible for a GEICO Achievement Award program, students must be enrolled in a 4-year post secondary program, as a sophomore or a junior. They must also have a 3.0 overall GPA at the time of application.

"We know the value of education," said GEICOs VP Jan Stewart. "We hope they have a good academic experience and get off to a good start in the business world".

A scholarship program is only the next natural step for a company with GEICOs dedication to customer satisfaction and community service. It is the third-largest auto insurance provider in the country, providing coverage for 9 million drivers and over 16 million vehicles. GEICO also offers insurance coverage for a varying collection of vehicles, including motorcycles, all-terrain vehicles and boats. As a popular insurance provider, GEICO has earned a stellar reputation among its satisfied customers.

The GEICO Award Program is now taking applications for 2010 Achievement Scolarships. Visit their website today to apply.
