The new coverage is hybrid upgrade car insurance, which will replace a customers car with a new hybrid vehicle in the event of a total loss. They are also offering new vehicle replacement coverage which will insure the complete replacement cost of a totaled car for up to the first three model years.
More drivers are becoming aware of the benefits of hybrid cars, and this new hybrid upgrade policy will make it possible for them to consider acquiring one. A recent Johnson Controls survey revealed 90% of American adults who are in the market for a new car would think about buying a hybrid, so this is not only a great option for drivers who want to be protective of their values assets; it also reduces their energy costs while helping the environment.
