Liberty Mutual Offers New Fleet Management Product
Liberty Northwest, a regional division of Liberty Mutual Agency Markets based in Portland, Oregon, is now offering a new product to commercial fleets in its five-state territory.
The product, Onboard Advisor, is a fleet management tool designed to help companies with auto fleets improve their safety and save on commercial auto insurance premiums. Other features include real-time tracking, and performance accountability options that can help fleet owners save money on overtime, maintenance, and fuel.
Julie A. Burnett, president and CEO of Liberty Northwest, explains, "We've developed these tools so companies can improve driver and vehicle safety performance and pro-actively manage their fleets. With improved safety and the potential for significant insurance discounts, we believe Onboard Advisor will bring our customers real value."
One facet of Onboard Advisor is Insurance Advisor, which rewards fleet management with an average discount of up to 15% in the first year with a Liberty Northwest commercial auto policy. The maximum discount, based on fleet performance in renewal years, is 40 percent.
Liberty Mutual has not specified whether or not they will be rolling out similar products in other markets.
