New Coverage Options Help Protect Commercial Drivers

Progressive Insurance is expanding their commitment to commercial customers by offering more products to help mitigate the costs that small business owners with car fleets typically have to endure.

Their new coverage options apply to cars, pick-ups, vans and SUVs used by small businesses and are currently available in 19 states across the country, though a nationwide roll-out is expected by the end of the year.

The two coverage options are Rental Reimbursement and Roadside Assistance. Rental Reimbursement will pay for a replacement car or truck should one be rendered not drivable after a covered claim, and Roadside Assistance covers all the things private passenger policy holders often have to get from Triple A: round-the-clock towing, battery jumps, emergency fuel delivery, locksmith services, tire changes, and even labor on the scene.

Explains Cory Fischer of Progressive’s Commercial Auto Group, “Small business owners can’t afford to be without one of their vehicles, even for a day. Our new coverages will help keep our customers on the road and in the black.”
